Castros is the place to be on a Wednesday night, where the party does not stop till 3am! After having pre-drinks at The Glasshouse or Ivory and catching the Free Bus to Castros, or simply walking up from student drinks and free pool at The Grand, the masses converge on Castros to keep the night going! With free entry before Midnight, (or free all night for students) – make sure you get in early.
Here we have two levels pumping out the freshest tunes over a split level club where you can choose either the latest in RnB downstairs, or the pumping sounds of Electro & House music upstairs. Castros is all about fun for everyone! With an amazing sound system & stunning lighting, we provide you with two poles and a cage to get your grove on and show off to the masses!
And to get the night started we having some of Wollongong’s most competitive drink specials. With drink specials from 9pm – 11pm including $4 House Spirits, Local Beers, Vodka Cruisers, $6 Vodka + Redbull, Smirnoff Double Blacks, and $7 Jager + Redbull the night is sure to start off well! Also keep an eye out for Drink Specials on the night that just keep going!!!

Castros is proud to be Wollongong’s premier Gay and Lesbian venue. Saturday night is LGBT @ Castros Nightclub where we host Wollongong’s finest local talent through our hosts on rotation – Dee Dee Le’Mah and Raine Ingmenn, bringing in weekly guests with variation. We welcome all persons from any background to come and feel safe at Castros, where you can be who you want to be!
With improvements to our entertainment system downstairs, you can kick-on till 3am to a variety of Dance, RnB, Pop, House, Electro, and of course a few old classics! Saturday night sees an emphasis on drink service, with our finest bartenders serving up your every desire. We have a sensational cocktail list, or you can ask someone behind the bar to tailor a creation to your satisfaction.
